The Rock honoured for the work his DJ Rock Foundation

Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson was in Washington, D.C. for the annual Congressional Awards dinner, where he was being honored for the work his DJ Rock Foundation does with youth. The U.S. representative from American Samoa, Eni Faleomavaega, presented the award to Johnson and placed a Tu'ipapai, a traditional garland made of Paogo tree blossoms, around his neck. (The actor's mother, Ata Johnson, who was with him at the dinner, is from Samoa.)

And the Scorpion King star seems to have come out fine from his own relationship woes. His ex-wife, whom he officially divorced last month, accompanied him to the event. She even got a special shout-out in his acceptance speech, when he called her "my beautiful partner, Dany."

The two have a six-year-old daughter, Simone, who was also in the audience to cheer on her dad. 

Dwayne Johnson & Dany Garcia were among in the my list of best ever couples; I just don't know why they split up! Why they are not thinking about their six-year-old daughter, Simone! I don't know why Dwayne Johnson exercised his wrestle enabled anger & emotions ; I am hoping high from DJ Rock Foundation! It is good to see that they are progressing.
